Entry Procedure:     
1) Pay applicable fees.  Pay through Paypal (see Fees), or mail a check and info to:

  • All fees are due upon submitting the application.                

  • The $30 application fee is nonrefundable.                

  • The space fee will be refunded if you are not selected.

  • No refunds after May 1, 2019

2) Submit the Application Form electronically and click the “SUBMIT" button at bottom.

3) Send three (3) representative samples of your work through one of the following methods:

  • Attached to the online application below

  • Prints mailed with the application to the above Cultural Council address

Artist Information

Cortland Arts and Wine Festival

Date: Saturday, August 3, 2019

Location: Courthouse Park, Cortland, NY

Hours: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Cortland Arts and Wine Festival will be an outdoor juried art show with 10 ft x 10 ft spaces available. All work must be created by the applying artist. Though prints of the original works are permitted, only original works will be considered for awards. Artists may supply their own tent, or they may sign up at an additional cost of $35 to be under the large tent.

Deadline for all Entries to be included in print guide: May 20, 2019

Accepted applications after this date cannot be guaranteed inclusion in the Festival Guide.
 

Please Note:

Vendors must sell original artwork only.

Commercial products will not be considered.

We reserve the right to approve or deny Artist Applications.

Vendor Application

Submission of application gives permission to allow the reproduction of your images for publicity purposes. The undersigned hereby agrees to all terms and conditions in the prospectus and does hereby release the Cultural Council of Cortland County from liability for any damaged or stolen articles.

(If applying online, receipt of payment serves in lieu of signature.)

Vendor Information

  • Required Licenses: You must display a New York State Permission to Collect Sales Tax Certificate.

  • Security: While the event will be patrolled, you are responsible for your own personal belongings. Neither the Arts and Wine Festival nor the Cultural Council accept responsibility for lost or stolen property.

  • Setup: Setup can begin at 7 AM. Tents can be set up the night before. Displays must be ready for viewing by 10 AM and must stay remain up until 5 PM.  Artists who leave early will not be invited back.  If you wish to set up your tent Friday afternoon, Contact Us.

  • Trash: A dumpster will be provided. Please remove all your trash.​

  • No refunds will be given for cancellation after acceptance or if the event is cancelled due to severe weather.  The show will 
    be held rain or shine, and although tents are not required, artists should be prepared for inclement weather.

  • Sub-renting is not allowed.

  • Eligibility:  All work must be created by the applying artist. Though prints of the original works are permitted, only 
    original works will be considered for awards. Information about awards will be coming shortly.  

  • Application Deadline: May 1, 2019.
