The exhibit of art entries in the Challenge at the Center for the Arts of Homer has now closed. The Cultural Council has currently postponed a second exhibit of the winning and honorable mention visual art entries due to the coronavirus outbreak. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
The theme for this year's Community Arts Challenge was Balance! The Grand Opening for the BALANCE Challenge took place on Friday, January 24. 2020 at the Center for the Arts of Homer. Visual art entries from the competition were on display in The Gallery through February 21 - read on to learn more.
About The Challenge
The evening will include an exhibit of the visual art entries, performances of the music, dance, poetry and drama entries, and the awarding of prizes in the fine arts, photography, artisan crafts, choreography, music, and writing categories. 71 artists have entered this competition.
Performances began at 7 PM.
This is a fun, unique event and a great way to show your support for the artists of Cortland County.
